Good pizza and outdoor seatng.

I tried Island Pasta back in 2000, yes long long time ago. I had the chance to try it again recently. I was a little disappointed with the quality of food, no more fresh bake bread served before meal, you have to order it on the side, garlic bread...... They do provide you with a slide of bread, looks like from the supermarket. The pasta was a little moist and kind of too wet for my taste.

Small upscale, restaurant. Friendly staff, decent Pasta, good cheesy bread, descent wine selection. Rosemary chicken was a bit dry. Small place so expect a wait on weekends during lunch and dinner unless u can get a seat at the bar.

Busy corner but Coronado isnt too busy. More foot traffic so great people watching location. Decent food but not very abundant. Nice diverse menu and they make their own pastas.

Lovely atmosphere. My tri colored pasta was good. My mom's spaghetti was not good. Didn't have much of a taste. Nice staff.

The food was pretty good. My son loved his rigotoni bake, and my wife enjoyed the pizza bowl (crustless baked bowl of pizza toppings). Service started well, but after we finished, we just sat there with empty plates until I finally flagged someone down for the check. She brought the check and disappeared quickly. After waiting quite a while longer, I just got up and took it to the bar to pay.

Hard to give a completely accurate rating. We visited during the memorial day weekend which was the first days places opened after the worst if the virus shutdowns. We ordered from the front door. Had a cheese pizza and a shrimp salad. Both were very good and we would visit again for the full experience.

Service was excellent. The caprese sandwich was not. Too dry. And they're pasta salad is great , but you don't get much.

Great little charming place with delicious house made pasta. Stopped here for lunch while on vacation, would happily eat here again.

The ravioli is absolutely the best I have ever eaten. The lasagna and bread were also very good, but the ravioli stole the show. There is a nice selection of eines and local beers. Everyone in our party was thrilled with these very fine dinners. Our server was fast, efficient, and unobtrusive. Outstanding!

This was a cute little restaurant. Main reason we went here was for the fresh homemade pasta. My husband loved the tortellini, but wasn’t a big fan of the grilled chicken they topped the dish with. My spaghetti was okay; not what I was expecting from fresh pasta. Not “al dente “ enough . The garlic bread was really good! I would give the restaurant another try. Our server Austin was awesome. He had a lot of tables but was able to serve everyone calmly.

Well I really wanted to like this place and was hoping that the 1 star reviews were fake. On the plus side the Marinara sauce was decent and tasted fresh. The pasta may have been fresh. However, it was bland. I was able to get things to taste a bit better by adding salt and butter. Don't ask me how you can make a meatball that bland but the meatball had no flavor. I was in hopes of finding a place for spaghetti on the island as good as several places I like in North county.

The pasta (tortellini) and pizza were delicious, the servers were super friendly and helpful, and the price was great. Don't eat at the Del (overpriced), eat here instead.

Great service. Great value. Great food. My wife and I we very impressed with the service we received and their handling of our daughter's food allergies. Our son also forgot his coat and one of the servers chased us down the street to return it. Fantastic dinning experience at this quaint little restaurant.

Excellent service! I had the Ravioli and Lasagna plate and it was amazing. The pasta is made fresh daily.Order the garlic bread!You will not regret it!I cannot wait to go back on our anniversary.

I think this place has a pretty good reputation with Coronado locals, but I extremely urge you to look elsewhere for your dinner. My husband and I dined here yesterday evening and were greeted by an indifferent hostess, old plastic chairs and tables, and subpar food. The pesto I ordered was bitter, the wine was a bit vinegary, and my husbands salmon was dry. Neither of us finished our food. We do not plan on returning.

Spaghetti over cooked. Didnt care for meatball or sause. Cold little slice of bread came with meal.

Holy cow this place is literally a little Italy! The food is SO GOOD! The service, even better. I would eat there every day if I could! Great prices, great food and atmosphere. Thank you, Island Pasta!

Ghastly food - Pasta being in the name would make you think they could get it right. The food was so bland I can’t even describe, the bread was all stale and the waiting staff quite obviously used to people complaining. I actually outright told the waitress we didn’t like any of the meals and she kindly bought us the check with no items deducted and she’d very kindly added the gratuity in to the MY receipt (which I’m sure is illegal) anyway I’ll take it up with Amex as it’s not my hand writing.

Okay lasagna, bad pesto, standard pizza, calling ziti rigatoni... None of this is worth an average plate cost of 15 bucks plus drinks! Take your business elsewhere.

Walking through Coronado looking for a place to eat, we decided on Island Pasta. Classic menu, reasonably priced, and a large wine selection - most for under $40 a bottle. Two of us ate a fantastic pasta dinner with a full bottle of wine and fantastic baguettes, for under $50. I don't do a lot of reviews, but felt compelled to do this because we were so pleased. Those negative remarks we read seem to be because they are so busy and can't accommodate everyone all the time.

The pasta was very good on it's own but the garlic bread was oddly spicy and the sauces were a bit watery. I had the pesto and it was fine but nothing extraordinary and the alfredo was not my taste. The staff was friendly and the ambiance was nice.

We chose here because there wasn't a wait, which was probably a flawed strategy. Ordered pesto rigatoni and recieved a bowl of bloated, soggy noodles with barely any pesto. Asked my friend how her salad was and she said "I've had a lot of ceasar salad in my life and I think most were better than this."The service was friendly enough, though we weren't checked in on until we asked for the bill.

Service was fantastic and the food was pretty good. Cheesy garlic bread awesome as was the baked rigatoni. The spaghetti with meat sauce was good as well, just wasn't expecting a spicy meat sauce.

I ordered from this Google Menu and when I showed up to pick up my order, I was charged almost $15 extra dollars. I then brought that to the cashiers attention and instead of honoring the price from the Google menu (which she confirmed herself), instead, she stated “I willLet the owner know”! That really upset me, plus the food was very bland, absolutely NO TASTE at all. It’s as if they just boiled the scallops and mixed flour and water together for creamy sauce and put that over pasta. My husband ordered garlic chicken and he also stated his food was tasteless! Get some NEW CHEFS or train them to cook the food correctly. I will not be going back to this place. The food is absolutely gross and a waste of my hard earned money!!!

Love the fresh, housemade pasta and cheesy garlic bread! Food is delicious and portions are plentiful. Staff are friendly and food service is quick. We try to visit every time we are in Coronado and highly recommend!

Shared an alfresco lunch with Loverman here. Had a fresh salad to start then an excellent,perfectly thin crust artichoke pesto chicken and mushroom pizza. Tasty with a nice glass of wine.Great friendly service as well.

I accidentally went here instead of the pizza place next door. The pizza is insulting. It tastes like a frozen round that they cover in goopy mozzarella. I’ll pay $20 for a good, fresh, brick oven style personal pizza, but this is not it. Go next door. (The servers were nice)

Great restaurant with wonderful service. Caprese sandwich was delicious.

The flavor of the sauce was bland. Wal-Mart sauces have more flavor. Also, the waitress got the check wrong, overcharging for the garlic bread and also putting down the wrong item. I wouldn't put the blame on her though as it seemed she was the only waitress for the whole restaurant. I wouldn't go back.

Absolutely terrible food.... don’t waste your time or money here. Service was unpleasant, and noodles and pasta tasted like a 6 year old cooked it.
